These two sessions were recorded somewhere in April, 2016 in the ephemeral studio I set up in M^C^O, Milan. After launching an open call for amateur musicians to come record in my studio, Luca Tanzini, aka Tab_Ularasa showed up. He turned out to be a bit more than the anonymous bedroom musician I expected for these sessions, but rather an extremely prolific DIY punk songwriter you'd be likely to bump into in Italy's underground venues still today, wearing his diving mask and singing 1min30 poetic songs full of caustic humour like in Uomo di Neve which deals with the fragile love between two snowmen reaching its tragic end when the rain starts falling... Anyway, a great encounter for a springtime afternoon of spontaneous recordings I'm very glad to release!
Le Savoir des Plantes is my own solo project. This first recording is a 'one shot' psych pop medley recorded out of a sheer frustration to have spent a few weeks recording people without playing myself. It is I think the most representative recording I made of the impalpable melodies turning around in my head sometimes. I recently added a few instruments over the original guitar/singing/babbling recording. Recorded a few days after Tab_Ularasa's session, I cannot deny its influence on this spontaneous try out. Very glad to share this tape with him!
